The first five books of Jewish and Christian Scriptures – Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Also called the “Five Books of Moses”, “Books of the Law” and the “Torah” (the Jewish translation of the five books). They were likely written some time between to 400-1500 BC.
