Tim Tebow is moving further into faith-based filmmaking as an executive producer with Lighthouse Verticals, a new mobile-first streaming platform that plans to deliver short, vertical scripted series for faith-and-family audiences when it launches publicly in November 2026.

According to a launch announcement distributed by PR firm Shore Fire Media, Lighthouse Verticals is positioning itself as “the first premium vertical entertainment platform built specifically for faith, family and values-driven audiences,” pairing a proprietary app with original programming designed for phones and other mobile devices. The company says the app will feature episodic viewing, subscriptions, community hubs, live discussion tools and referral rewards, all organized around microdramas—bite-sized, vertically shot series built for serial storytelling on the go.

The press release explains that Lighthouse Verticals has entered a partnership with Studio316, a faith-based content studio founded by Tim Tebow’s The Tebow Group and Snow Story Productions, to develop more than 30 original vertical series for the initial slate. Studio316’s mission, as described in the release, is to create uplifting, values-driven vertical films and series for a new generation of mobile-first viewers, spanning multiple genres and age groups.

Lighthouse Verticals’ CEO, Jesse Liddell, said in the announcement that the platform is aimed at an audience eager to participate in contemporary culture without sacrificing biblical convictions. “This audience wants to engage with the culture without compromise,” Liddell noted, arguing that faith and family viewers have largely been overlooked by the fastest-growing short-form platforms, even as microdrama storytelling has exploded in popularity elsewhere.

With Lighthouse Verticals, Tebow will serve as an executive producer, helping bring faith and family content to market through vertical series distributed on the app. While the announcement does not detail specific show titles yet, it indicates that initial programming will cover a range of genres, offering romance, comedy, mystery and drama while staying anchored in Christian and family-friendly values. This move builds on Tebow’s broader shift behind the camera in recent years, where he has increasingly invested in producing faith-based projects in addition to his well-known work as an athlete and broadcaster.

For Christian viewers, the strategy behind Lighthouse Verticals raises important questions about how believers inhabit digital spaces that are increasingly shaped by short-form video. Scripture consistently underscores the formative power of stories—Jesus’ parables in passages like Matthew 13 use narrative to reveal the kingdom of God, and Paul’s engagement with Athenian culture in Acts 17 shows how truth can be communicated through familiar forms. A platform dedicated to Christ-centered storytelling in a popular format could help families and young adults navigate the attention economy with content that seeks to honor God rather than compete with their discipleship.

At the same time, the launch highlights the need for discernment. Philippians 4:8 calls Christians to dwell on what is true, honorable, just, pure and commendable, and 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds believers that even ordinary activities—like entertainment choices on a smartphone—are meant to be done “to the glory of God.” Lighthouse Verticals’ stated commitment to “values-driven” programming offers one concrete attempt to align short-form viewing with those biblical priorities, but pastors, parents and viewers will still need to evaluate individual series, ask whether they point people toward Christ, and guard against the ever-present temptations of distraction and escapism.

Details about subscription pricing, specific show announcements and international availability have not yet been released; Lighthouse Verticals says initial titles will be announced at a later date as the company approaches its November 2026 public launch. For now, interested viewers can sign up for updates and learn more about the platform’s vision through the official website, as Tebow and his partners prepare to test whether microdramas that fit in the palm of a hand can also help shape hearts and imaginations toward Jesus.
