God loves you!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

This verse is an important summary of the gospel and thus, has become a very popular Christian verse.  It shows that God’s love is not limited by nation, race, nor religion.  God loves the entire world – including YOU.  His love was expressed to us through Jesus’ life, the lessons he taught us, and ultimately his sacrificial death.  This wonderful gift does not have to be earned, only received through belief in Jesus and the lessons he passed to us through the New Testament.
