The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. – John 10:10
The thief cares only about himself and will use any means necessary to obtain what he wants. Jesus however, cares about his followers and will keep out anyone who intends to harm the fold – even if it means forsaking his own life to protect those he loves.
