“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

These words were written by Jeremiah to the homesick captives in Babylon and apply equally as well to present-day mankind.  Just like the exiles in Babylon, whom Jeremiah told to settle down, work hard, and remain patient, God has a plan for us too.  There may be times when we feel sad, hurt, maybe even lost, but we can always take comfort in knowing that our future will be bright.  These confident expectations drive us forward allowing us to realize our full potential.
