For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. – Ephesians 2:8
Salvation is given to us through faith and is a gift from God (not by works) that must be freely accepted. We must remember that God intervened and revived mankind through Jesus’ teachings. This was an act of grace alone.
