BBT Bible Introduction The Bible Blender Translation (BBT) is a new work-in-progress translation that builds on the New English Translation and is similar to modern-day translations such as New International Version and New American Bible.  BBT differs from alternative translations in these ways (1) Vague or difficult-to-interpret phrasing is presented in its original form, (2) Parenthetical notations are freely incorporated to explain difficult-to-translate phrasing, and (3) Parenthetical notations are freely incorporated to provide alternative translations in-line with biblical text.  I believe previous translations attempt to "dumb-down" biblical phrasing, often using inaccurate or vague phrasing which misrepresents the original biblical text.  BBT attempts to correct those misrepresentations to more accurately express the biblical author's original phrasing and intent.
