The Arabian Peninsula, also known as Arabia, is a peninsula of Western Asia situated north-east of Africa. In its broadest sense, the term Arabia may extend to regions within the Arabian plate, which includes Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the eastern Sinai and the United Arab Emirates.
