Aaron is the brother of Moses and Miriam and the son of Levi. He was the first high priest and with Moses, a leader of the Hebrew people during their exodus from Egypt. His descendants served as Israel’s priests. He died at the age of 123, before the Israelites entered Canaan and was buried on Mount Hor or at Moserah.
